Almost everyone has a computer, and there are some problems that people often have with their computer. Here are three of the problems that a lot of people have with their computer and what you can do to fix them.
§ Slow Wi-Fi Network – If you aren’t having an outage in your network, chances are you have interference. You can try moving the router in order to shield it from things like microwave use or cordless phone calls. You might also be using a channel that’s crowded. That can be changed through the configuration page of your router.
§ Bad Display – Check the settings of your display by right clicking on your desktop, choosing properties if you use XP or personalize if you’re using Vista, then clicking settings. If it’s not possible to increase the quality of the color and resolution, click advanced and then adapter. If the standard VGA or another adapter that is generic is listed, download the driver which is specific to the PC you are using. If the specific adapter is there, try using a previous driver version. This is done on SXP by clicking properties, then driver, and then choosing the rollback feature. If you are using Vita, use the personalization menu, and then choose display settings, then advanced settings, then properties, and then driver, and then the roll back option.
§ Viruses and Malware – Always run a virus software and scanner to check for problems and also make sure to use only safe, secure software. My friend once downloaded a pirated version of audio editing software that only delivered virus problems. He learned his lesson, got a virus scanner and downloaded a safe version of Audacity instead.
§ Garbage is Coming From Printer – You may have cancelled a print job but it may not have been properly cleared from your printer’s memory. This caused me all kinds of problems when I tried to print some pages from my Calibre e-book manager once. Turn off your printer for a minute before turning it back on. While you wait, go to start, then printers & faxes if you are using XP, or start and then printers in Vista so you can delete things that are in the queue. If the problem persists, download then reinstall the printer’s driver.
If you have these problems, remember these solutions. They will help you.
